Education Commission

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Holy Family Education Commission is to offer recommendations to the pastor and educational leaders of the parish and to support the educational aspects of all parish life, children and adults alike.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Education Commission is to support programs for all ages, encouraging spiritual and educational growth. We strive to develop goals that benefit our faith community.

Meetings

The Education Commission meets the first Monday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., September through June, in the teachers’ lounge in the school.

The Education Commission has collaborated in the past with the Youth Commission on some of their events such as the “Beautiful You” dinner/fashion show on modesty for women and girls, and the “Breaking the Bro Code; What it Means to be a Catholic Man Today” for men and boys. This year we focused on an event for women and put on two “Paint and Pray” events. Your involvement on this commission would be in an advisory capacity for the monthly meetings with occasional opportunities to participate in putting on an event.
