Hello, beautiful family!

We are very close now to moving into the hall for the next 8-10 months. As I typed last week, this is going to require a lot from us and I continue to pray that we are patient, loving and grateful for this process of transition.

I have some news that I hope will help us sort through it all and get started. Please read this over and help people who don’t read the bulletin.

During the renovations, weekend Masses will be celebrated in the large hall in the Fr. Bush Parish Center. The setup will be the same as we have used for Christmas Eve Mass in the hall for the past several years, but with the musicians positioned on the stage.

The large hall will typically be set up on Saturdays, after morning Mass, and will remain set up until after the Monday morning all-school Mass.

The small hall will become the day chapel and this is where the daily Masses will be prayed and Eucharistic Adoration will be offered on Wednesdays.

The small hall chapel is where the tabernacle, the baptismal font, the vigil candles, and the confessionals will be located.

The temporary sacristy will be located in the current football locker room.

We could really use some help on Sunday, August 25th. Our last Mass in the current Church will be at 5:30 p.m. that day.

Following this Mass, we would love to have every person able to help us move things from the Church proper to our hall. It’s a lot to carry, but if we all work together, we can get it done quickly and well.

I have to tell you, I’ve seen the hall and it is amazing. The dark, dingy ceiling tiles are replaced by beautiful white ones and our new lights absolutely brighten the area. We have some nice wall panels to offset the brick and a new sound system with new speakers and microphones. We accomplished all this and more under our budget: Praise God!

I know this is not the first time you’ve been told we are going to have a new Church and I am touched by your support of this effort. The day is finally coming when we will set the stage for future generations to worship God in a strong, well-constructed Church, all thanks to you. May God bless our efforts and keep us confident in His providence.
