Greetings in Christ!

As you read this, I will be on the Catholic Couples Cruise with my Dad. Throughout the week on the cruise, I will be giving talks, introducing events and speakers, praying Mass, hearing confessions and getting some rest and relaxation in between it all. They’ve told me they want me to do this again next year, but I am typing this before I leave for the first one, so, let’s just see how this goes before I commit, right? 🙂

Anyway, if I do it next year, I’ll let you know right away so that my two parish families get first shot at signing up: we sold out this year really, really fast.

I wanted to take some time to thank you all. This is the week where we send out the donor letters and once again, I’m just so blown away.

I sign each letter individually and make sure I say prayers of thanks the whole time I do so. It’s thousands of letters, but it’s totally worth it.

I know that every penny we have at our Church comes from someone choosing to make a sacrifice for the parish and I can’t tell you how touched I am at your generosity.

Since the day I arrived, I have been striving to show my gratitude for your gifts by being prudent with our funds and making sure I listen to our finance councils. These actions, coupled with prayer are my way of thanking you and I hope you see it.

I pray Jesus bless you all with love, light and peace. I’m blessed to be your priest.
