Greetings in Christ all!

I hope that you are all doing well during these crazy days.  I miss you very much.

I’ve got to tell you that I’m blown away by how many people from all over the country are sending in money to support our beautiful parish.  You would be absolutely astounded.  Without the ability to take collections, most parishes are taking hits from which they will probably never recover: parishes will even close as a result of these weeks and weeks without income.

For our part, between you members of our parish family who are giving and the amount of money coming in from outside our parish, we will be okay.

Many of the people sending in money have informed us that they plan on visiting Holy Family when the crisis passes, some have even indicated they are going to register or return to us after some time away.

It is my sincerest hope that we welcome any new members and fellow worshippers who come to pray with us in the days ahead.  Without these outside donations made by “virtual parishioners” we would be in serious trouble.

We are doing well.  To be blunt, we are not doing as well as we would be if there had been no plague, but we should be fine.

For all of you members of our Parish Family mailing in donations, I simply cannot thank you enough.  I have literally broken down crying tears of gratitude and joy for your fidelity to Our Family.  With all my heart, thank you.

We have obviously had to temporarily lay people off and I am so terribly sorry about that.  We will work hard to get everybody back when the crisis passes.

Please keep me in your prayers, if I may be so selfish.  These days of the pandemic have required a lot of me and I am so happy to give it, but I am struggling to keep up.  I appreciate any prayers that you can offer.

Please know that I pray for all of you everyday; I thank God for your incredible outpouring of love and support on my birthday and for Easter.  I am grateful…thank you.

I love you all.  I love being your priest.  I pray God bless us and keep us in His Care.
