For whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you have done unto me.”
Matthew 25:40

Holy Family Outreach Center

The Outreach center is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and works side by side with many other charitable programs. Photo ID is needed to sign up.

Volunteers at the center serve those in need by distributing food, clothing and other forms of assistance.  If you would like to volunteer at the Outreach Center, please contact the Outreach Director, Kathy Medich, at 810-771-7279, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Did you know that for every dollar given to Outreach, we can buy $6 in food to fill our shelves? That’s incredible!

You can use Online Giving to donate to Outreach. Click on online giving, sign in, choose new gift and choose the fund “Outreach Program.”  It’s that simple.

“Others First”
We also depend on your generosity to stock our Food Pantry and Clothes Closet.  On the first weekend of each month, designated “Others First,” parishioners are asked to bring non-perishable items to Mass and place them in the gathering space.  You are also welcome to bring food and clothes to the Outreach Center Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or anytime outside of business hours at the designated drop off behind the Center.

Soup Kitchen Volunteers

Holy Family volunteers give of their time at the North End Soup Kitchen on Stewart Ave in Flint the second Tuesday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We have three teams that rotate throughout the year so the minimum commitment can be 1 day every three months (3 to 4 times a year) to a maximum of 1 day a month if you choose to go every month. You will have to have you own transportation to the Soup Kitchen although you can coordinate with the other volunteers on your team if you wish to do so.
If you would like to be on a North End Soup Kitchen team, please contact the Parish Office at 810-694-4891 or e-mail holyfamily@hfgb.org for more information.
