Greetings in Christ, all!

Wow…crazy days, no? This is turning out to be a very odd Lent. All of us have had a Eucharistic fast inflicted on us and it’s tough, but I am so proud of how we have responded. Our livetreamed Liturgies and my Quarantine Catechesis are getting literally tens of thousands of views…it’s unreal, praise God!

I urge all who read this to make sure to stay in touch with our parish website: www.hfgb.org or our Church of the Holy Family Facebook page for our online events and our updates, particularly during this upcoming Holy Week. I cannot urge you strongly enough to treat this Holy Week as…well, Holy. After all He did for us, is it too much for Him to ask us to give our all during this week?

A couple things to keep in mind:

Our building project has obviously halted. For two weeks now, our site has been shut down. This is a bit heartbreaking, I know, but I choose to trust our Lord and ask us all to do the same. In the meantime, if the worst thing that happens to us is that we get to worship together in the hall for a bit longer, we are pretty blessed people. I just love that we get to pray together and where we do that is a distant second.

Any financial help you can offer is greatly appreciated.  Our collections are not happening and clearly won’t be happening for some time. Please, help us if you can.

I love you all and thank God that I get to be your priest.
