Greetings in Christ!

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving.  God is so good.  I believe it’s true that few things are more healing, more important and more rare than a thankful spirit.  It is so easy to find and complain about what is wrong, it takes a person of character and vision to see what is right.  Let’s continue that beautiful Thanksgiving Spirit with us for the rest of our lives.

This is the First Sunday of Advent.  We begin a four-week stretch of preparing our Hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birth and be ready for His Second Coming.  I can’t imagine the pressure many of you feel this time of year; society puts so much on us all.  I hope and pray you feel no pressure from us here except to come and pray with us.  Jesus doesn’t need you to accomplish anything or to get everything right.  He simply wants you nearby.  Think of Him.  Spend time with Him.  Let Him take the
burdens off your shoulders and love you right where you are.

Advent by Candlelight is this Thursday. This event for women can be a wonderful time to reflect on the
season of Advent. Join us in the Church for a brief time of reflection, support and prayer.

Next Monday, we have multiple Mass times to honor Our Blessed Mother.  On December 9th, we will have masses at 6:30am, 8am, and 6pm to pray in gratitude for the wonder of Our Mother’s Immaculate
Conception. Please make sure and get to one of these if you can!

Jesus bless you all…I’m so grateful to God that I get to be your priest!
