Merry Christmas to all!

May the light of Christ’s presence among us drive away the darkness, chaos and anger of this present world.

How blessed are we to have a God that chose to come among us. He didn’t need to do what he did; there are many ways I assume He could’ve saved us.

But He chose vulnerability. He chose to become tiny and dependent, because we are tiny and dependent. God experienced need because we experience need. God experienced all of these things out of love and a hunger to save us.

The moment Jesus was conceived in His Mother’s womb, human nature and divine nature mingled together. Jesus takes every human experience but sin and makes it holy. He does this to connect with us,

to heal our broken human nature and to offer us the Gift of Hope.

Whatever darkness we encounter, whatever struggles we endure, we do so knowing that the Lord is with us.

I pray that God heals our broken relationships and draws us closer to Him each day so that we stand together as a sign of Hope for a world so contentious, so angry, so fearful.

We need to fear nothing. By taking flesh and becoming one with us, God has united Himself to the human race in a way that can never be undone.

May Jesus bless and restore each of us. May He compel us to remember Who He Is and What He’s Done in every moment when we wrestle.

Jesus bless you all!
