Greetings in Christ, Holy Family!

I want to thank you all for your prayers and support of, not only Fr Le and me, but for all the priests of our diocese who gathered together this past week for a really outstanding retreat. The retreat was led by Fr John Riccardo, who is a wonderfully holy priest that I greatly respect. The retreat was very intense, but so challenging, life-giving and fruitful. Praise God.

In today’s bulletin you will find we have begun to promote our Lenten Journey. Included in this year’s schedule is a Parish Mission on March 7, 8, and 9 led by Sister Teresa MacDonald who will be visiting us from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Please mark your calendars and plan to spend some time with us in getting Lent off to a good start.

In addition to looking forward to Lent, we have another important date coming up: March 1, 2022, is the deadline for parents of Catholic high school students to apply for tuition subsidies to your child’s local Catholic high school. Again, you must submit your application by March 1, 2022. If you have any questions about the available subsidy, please call our parish Business Manager, Chuck Wright, who will be happy to walk you through the process.

I am happy to be home and praying with you, my parish family. I am so grateful to be your priest.
