Greetings in Christ, all!

This is a big week for us at Holy Family; we are celebrating Catholic Schools Week! All over the diocese, those of us who are graced to have a Catholic School will take this week to express our thanks to God for this amazing gift and reaffirm our love and commitment to the school. I was never blessed to attend a Catholic school. By the time I was growing up, we had no options within a half hour drive, much to my sorrow and that of my family. In this day and age in particular, it is so important that we are able to provide all who wish an opportunity to have a place where we can talk about God the Father and all He has done to reveal Himself to us in His creation. We are blessed to have a place where our kids are free from the newest fads in and about education and instead can focus on Truth, Beauty and Goodness. It is my sincerest hope that we continue to strive to do all we can to ensure that this is an option for any who wish.

Other News:

On Sunday, January 30th, our school is open for any who want to come and see the school. Walk the halls, talk to our teachers and staff and see the beauty you allow to flourish. May God bless our school and all who labor there for the Good of the Kingdom of God.

This Thursday is the Memorial of St. Blaise. Traditionally, we bless throats on this day. This year we will do a general blessing of the throats on both Wednesday and Thursday.

On Saturday after the 8 am Mass, we will resume our normal confession times. I’m so excited about this. Thank you for bearing with us during a particularly challenging January.

I thank Jesus for all of you every day.
