Greetings in Christ, all!

So, this is our big weekend for Fr. Le. I cannot express to you my thankfulness for how you have loved, supported and honored him in his service to God and us. We are blessed people to have such a loving, humble and good priest. For me, I thank God daily for him and for his yes. His family is here now and will be for a couple of weeks. Let’s keep them in our prayers so that they have a joyful time together.

This summer has been a bit rough, schedule-wise. Fr. Le and I have found it more difficult than usual to keep up with all that is being asked of us. Please be patient and remember that we tried to build a team here so that everything doesn’t fall on the priests. We have people here on our team ready and trained to counsel, to pray with you, whatever is needed. Where and if we find we cannot help, we have resources we can offer.

You may remember that every year, I take a vacation sometime around July or August. This year, I will be leaving on July 20th for a vacation/retreat. My best friend Fr. Geoff and I do this every year and it’s always such a blessing. I’ll miss you all and pray for you every day.

So…that’s it for this week! Thank you so much for letting me serve you; I cannot tell you how much I love being your priest.
