Greetings in Christ!

Just a quick note this week:

We continue our normal summertime at Holy Family. The school is still pretty busy for our principal and her support staff as they evaluate last year, prepare for next year and hire new employees. (Job and staff opportunities are posted on the Diocese of Lansing website: https://www.dioceseoflansing.org/human-resources/careers). Please keep our school in your prayers. Please also keep all school families in your prayers; may the extra family time be filled with love, joy and wonder.

This week we, as a country, celebrate The Fourth of July. This is a day where we thank God for the gift of freedom, for the courage of our founding fathers and the many men and women who have lived and died in service of our Republic.

May Jesus bless us with great courage to be good, holy citizens.

Because this holiday falls on a Thursday, we will keep the office closed on Friday as well.

Thank you for letting me be your priest.

I love you all and thank Jesus for you every day.
