Greetings in Christ, all!

Last week I typed my bulletin at Green Bay, where I was conducting the Convocation for the priests of the diocese there. This week I am typing in Frankenmuth, where the Diocese of Lansing is holding our convocation of priests.

It’s going really well…quite challenging, in the best sense of the word.

So far, the focus has been on a couple things: looking at specific ways we as priests can agree to individually pursue holiness and looking at ways to help each other do so. They gave us some marvelous handouts to help us have concrete goals and ways of living out the pursuit of holiness and honestly, I really feel excited about this. I want to be holy.

Right before lunch today, I was appointed to a term on the Presbyteral Council. This will be my third time serving. I was happy this last year that I wasn’t on a committee, so I guess I asked for it. It’s not a lot of meetings. If I remember rightly, it’s four or six a year, something like that.

It’s only the second day of the convocation, so I don’t have much more to report. We get the afternoon free for a few hours and I will use that time now to catch up.

I miss you already and I pray that Jesus fill your hearts with His love.
