Greetings in Christ!
I feel like my knee is 90% healed. I am SO grateful for your prayers and support…it means a lot to me. I genuinely don’t like it when I’m not doing my job and being out for a few days really bums me out. I’m hopeful that this procedure is going to solve a lot of my problems.
A couple of years ago, I was asked by Corporate Travel to be a part of a pilgrimage to Greece and Turkey where we follow the footsteps of St. Paul in those countries. All I have to do is pray Mass every day and they will cover everything about the trip. I agreed to do so and surprise, the days are almost upon us!
I will be leaving this Wednesday and returning 12 days later. We will visit Athens, where Paul first preached in Greece; Corinth, where Paul lived for a few years; Ephesus, where Our Blessed Mother lived, as well as Thessaloniki (Thessalonica in the days of St. Paul), as well as other places. Some of my family is going which will only make it more joyful. I haven’t taken a pilgrimage in over 15 years so I have to tell you, I’m nervous about being away from you, but also beyond excited for a shot at some Spiritual renewal.
I hate this part, but it’s going to have an effect on you. I ask for your patience with our wonderful Holy Family staff as they continue the work of our parish. Fr Le will be here and we will be relying on our retired priests to help him with Masses, confessions, and emergency calls as much as needed.
Please know that I pray for you all every day; In my prayer, I thank God for you and ask Him to bless and protect you. I will carry you in my heart into Greece and Turkey and offer your intentions to the Lord there.
I’ll miss you all. See you soon!
