On September 8th, the day after Labor Day, our parish will begin new weekday confession and Mass times. Our new schedule will be the same Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. Mass, 5:30 p.m. Mass, and confessions offered prior to the evening Mass 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday, when we have Eucharistic Adoration during the […]

Daily Mass schedule: After much prayer and discernment, we have decided to change the daily Mass schedule. Beginning September 8, we would like to offer Mass at 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with confessions at 5:00 p.m. each day before the evening Mass. Unfortunately, this affects some people—especially the 6:30 a.m. crowd—and […]

Liturgical Thoughts: On August 5th our Worship Commission met. We even had a few Olympic game contests, such as egg-carrying on a spoon, water balloon toss, a three-legged race, etc.—none of which required much strength or athletic ability! […]

Last week thirteen youth and three adult chaperones traveled to Cincinnati, OH to spend a week working with the Franciscans for Poor. During this week of service, our group worked in Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky area with developmentally disabled youth, served brunch and talked with residents at the Ronald McDonald House, helped with a […]

Summer break: Both Fr. Gary and I will be gone for a couple Masses this weekend. Fr. Gary is attending the wedding of a former seminarian (it’s great that this young man discovered his vocation!). And on Sunday I will be at a family reunion. Fr. Kolenski is celebrating the Noon Mass while Fr. Faraci […]
