Greetings in Christ! I have returned from a two-day priest conference and want to tell you that I was so very blessed and blown away. God is good.

This weekend I leave for my yearly retreat. You may recall that every year I take a ten-day break that is a vacation/retreat hybrid. I go with my best friend, Fr. Geoff Rose, and we pray, rest and just exist for a few days. I’ve been pushing pretty hard and while I will obviously miss praying with you, I am very excited to slow down. Please pray that I  listen to the Lord, that I get good rest, and that The Lord guide my steps. I promise to pray for you, thanking God for you and thinking of Our Family often.

Dad will be staying with one of my sisters and Marius will be splitting time between parishioners’ homes…dear God pray for those parishioners!

I will be leaving immediately after the 10:00 am Mass on Sunday the 24th and returning sometime late the next week

.

I love you all and can’t believe how much I enjoy being your priest.
