Greetings in Christ, all!

This last week on Tuesday, we celebrated our 75th anniversary Mass and dinner. It was awesome!

I’m so very grateful to all of you who came and prayed it up. We are so very blessed to be a part of this community formed 75 years ago in faith. Your prayerful support of this occasion and joy- filled time afterward was beautiful. It was wonderful to gather parishioners in honor of our 75 years of community. I thank the Lord for all of you!

On Sunday the 25th, after the 10:00 am Mass, I will be heading for a retreat and a bit of vacation. I don’t know if you remember, but I do this every year around this time: get some rest, read, pray and do some interior work to be sure that I am attentive to the Lord and falling deeper in love with him every day. I’m excited for this time; my brain is fried! I will pray for you every day, both in gratitude and in petition.

In terms of Quantum Catechesis, I have filmed some shows for the first week I am gone. We will be doing a walk through Mass: why we do what we do, what it means, etc. I hope you find it helpful.

For those who are interested, you can go to YouTube and look for the Joe In Black Ministries YouTube Channel and watch live at noon on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every week. This catechetical time has drawn so many people to grow in faith and support our Church, I am grateful to the Lord. If you haven’t watched yet, check it out and see!

Thank you for letting me be your priest. My heart is filled with gratitude.
