Dear Sisters and Brothers,
After months of prayer, searching, and discernment, I am very happy to announce that we have our next principal. Theresa Purcell, our own assistant principal and long-time teacher, has joyfully accepted the position, which was offered to her by Msgr. Jerry Vincke this past week. We are blessed at Holy Family to have Mrs. Purcell as our next principal and to know that our school and our children will be led by such a capable and compassionate person. She will be taking over her new duties on July 1, 2015.

Please take a moment to read her letter below, to say a prayer of thanksgiving to God, and to warmly welcome her as our next principal. May God bless you, your family, and our school and parish abundantly this coming week.

Fr. Jonathan

Dear Parishioners of Holy Family Church and Parents,

It is with great pride that I write to you as the next principal of Holy Family School. This role allows me to continue on my journey to lead others to know Christ. I am currently the Assistant Principal at Holy Family School and have spent the previous 22 years teaching in this school. My husband and I are the proud parents of three daughters, Natalie, Maria, and Halle. Our oldest two daughters attend Powers Catholic High School and our youngest daughter is in the sixth grade at Holy Family. We have been members of Holy Family Parish for thirteen years and can often be found every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Mass.

As principal of your parish school, I hope to help families fulfill their dreams of giving their children an educational experience second to none! Here at Holy Family School students will have the opportunity to know Jesus in every aspect of the curriculum. Our values and beliefs will not just be learned, but will be modeled and lived out each day.

My vision for Holy Family School is that it be an extension of our Baptismal promises for our children. I would like to make the educational experience at Holy Family School possible for all of our parishioners with elementary-aged children. My hope is that Holy Family School will grow its enrollment each year and continue the strong history of planting the seeds of faith, watering them, and watching them bloom! I would ask that all of us continue to pray for our parish school and spread the word. What an amazing gift we can give our children!

Sincerely in Christ,
Theresa Purcell
