Greetings in Christ, all!

We continue our Easter Season with great joy and hope in the resurrection. Our God has won, is winning and will win.  We need not fear.

I’m excited for our Garage Sale this year. So many wonderful people came forward and volunteered to help us. I can’t thank those volunteers enough. We sometimes struggle to get people to come and help and each person who does come and helps makes such a difference: thank you.

I don’t know if you went to last year’s sale, but it was a lot of fun with a lot of great items. I was astounded at just how many things we were able to sell and how many people came. We only had a couple weeks last year to put it together and we still were able to make some money for our budget. We learned a lot and we are plugging those lessons in…I’m excited to see where this goes.

Make sure to check it out if you can. It’s in the Fr. Bush Parish Center on Friday, April 19th, from 9 am – 2 pm and on Saturday, April 20th, from 9 am – 3 pm. If you have items you wish to donate, you can drop them off from now until Wednesday (see below).

I have a meeting of the Deans this week in Lansing on Thursday. If you could remember to pray for me then, I would be very grateful.

So, that is it for this week.

Thank you for loving God and each other and thank you so much for letting me be your priest.
