Greetings in Christ!

We continue our journey through Advent. This is a good moment to pause and refocus our hearts and minds on the upcoming celebration of his birth and to prepare ourselves for His second coming.

This week we celebrate two big occasions all in one.

December 12th is the anniversary of the dedication of our new Church and it is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I’m so grateful to God for the gift of our Church and your generous hearts that made it possible. The fact that we got to dedicate it on such a wonderful feast only made it all the more amazing. Please consider coming and praying Mass here on Tuesday morning at 8 am if you can.

Our Church nears completion…the meeting with the Organ Pipe Installation folks is this week, which should really add some color and beautiful music to the front of our Church. Beyond that, there are other projects we are working on that we will let you know about soon. We continue to strive to make sure that the place where we worship Jesus is worthy of Him; filled with beauty, light and love.

That’s all we’ve got for this week, except for a note to make sure to pray for all the people we will see around Christmas that we do not usually see. Let’s pray that their experience of worship with us compels them to return to the practice of the faith!

May Jesus bless you all. I thank Him every day that I get to be your priest.
