Greetings in Christ, all! I wanted to be sure to remind you all that I offer Catechetical Sessions every week on the internet. On Wednesdays, I do a topic, on Thursdays, I interview a guest, and on Fridays, I answer questions. You can enjoy these on podcasts and/or YouTube by searching for “Joe In Black Ministries” on your favorite podcast provider or YouTube.com. We recently received word that our podcast is in the top 2-3% of podcasts! Praise God. We have a lot of fun and I think we learn a lot. If this sounds fun/helpful to you, don’t hesitate to subscribe.

I hope you noticed our new St. Joseph and St. Mary statues…Praise God! They arrived on Tuesday morning and I think I was in my truck to pick them up within five minutes of the call! Haha

I thank God every day for Our Saints and the way their examples and prayer help us to be the men and women God made us to be.

As for the old St. Joseph and Mary statues, we are working on some plans to restore their color and have a display of numerous saints in our gathering space where the organ pipes currently are. We’re not sure we’re doing this, I just wanted to let you know what we are thinking.

We made some serious progress on the baptismal font as well. By the time you read this, the three bowls that comprise the majority of the font will be completed and now it’s a matter of the woodwork and installation…Come, Holy Spirit! I can’t wait until it’s up.

So, some exciting things are coming together…all of this because you pray and sacrifice for our parish and school. With all of my heart, thank you.

In the love for Our Mother and St. Joseph,

Fjk
