Greetings in Christ! A blessed and holy Advent Season to all.

This article, I want to walk through our Christmas Mass Schedule. Christmas is on a Monday this year, so that means that we will have an odd Mass schedule that weekend. Basically, as faithful Catholics, we need to fulfill two separate Mass obligations in three days.

You’ll need to pray your Sunday obligation at one of the following Masses:

Saturday at 4:00 pm / Sunday at 8:00 am
Sunday at 10:00 am
*No Noon Mass that day*

You’ll also need to pray your Christmas obligation at one of the following Masses:

Sunday at 4:00 pm / Sunday at 6:00 pm
Midnight
Monday at 8:00 am / Monday at 10:00 am
*No Noon Mass that day*

It’ll be a blessed time for all of us as we rejoice in Christ being born among us: I can’t wait to pray with you all!

Now, a key note that I always feel compelled to share…

Let’s be good to our visitors. Let’s be welcoming. If they seem to be struggling with loud or active children, let’s be sure to offer smiles and/or support.

Let’s be sure that, starting today, we are praying the following prayer every day:

Jesus, I ask you to bless all the people who will be praying with us this week who do not usually pray with us. Bless them with joy and peace as we pray and draw them closer to Your Sacred Heart. Help them to desire to pray to you with us, so that our family may be strengthened and your love known by all. Amen.

Thank you so much, everyone. I thank God every day that I get to be your priest. You are God’s gift to me.
