Greetings in Christ, all!

A reminder that tomorrow is Memorial Day. Traditionally, this is when we remember, pray for, and honor those men and women who died in military service to our country. We will continue our tradition of praying Mass at Evergreen Cemetery on Hill Road at 9 am on Monday. Please come pray the outdoor Mass with us and bring a chair.

DSA is going well, but I would love for us to do better. Our goal was/is 70% participation and we are not at 30%. If you would, please consider going to:

https://www.dioceseoflansing.org/DSA

Click “donate”

Choose “Ongoing Monthly Gift”

Choose “Holy Family Grand Blanc” from the parish affiliation list and fill out the rest of the form.

Any monthly donation you can offer will help. If we can get enough people pledging, we won’t need to push so hard every year and our diocese leaders can set their budget a little more strategically. Thanks so much for considering this.

Now for the fun stuff…

Mark those calendars for June 16-18 and come on out to our Holy Family Summer Fest 2022. This will be a lot of fun for all of us as we enjoy great music, great food and joyful times together. The last couple years we’ve done this have been a lot of fun and I think you will not regret coming.

Here are some highlights:

On Thursday, June 16th, we kick the whole thing off with Trivia Night! We’ll open the doors to the Fr. Bush Parish Center at 6 pm, then start the game at 6:30. I’ll be serving as emcee and we’re gonna have a riot. You can register your team of six to eight persons at www.hfgb.org.

On Friday and Saturday, we’ll be serving food and listening to some great music right in our Fr. Bush parking lot. I’ll have my “World Famous Life Altering Divinely Inspired Sauce” and there will be all kinds of other treats as well.

Also on Saturday is the Color Fun Run! We’ll start the 2-mile run/walk at 10 am at the Fr. Bush Parish Center. Please register for this at www.hfgb.org as well.

There is a ton of information on all this in the rest of the bulletin; please bring your family and prepare to have a great time.

See you there!

I’m so grateful that God lets me be your priest.
